Hot on the heels of the recent opening of her Fata Morgana solo show at Galerie L.J. in Paris, Swoon (interviewed) made a trip to London last week. Emma Tooth’s ‘Concilium Plebis’ series of oil paintings have been described as “Extraordinary portraits of ordinary people.” This week sees the Derbyshire based artist open her London solo show at the Lazarides’ Outsiders Gallery, as well as making her debut showing in the United States in Thinkspace’s five year anniversary show. Von, or HelloVon (interviewed) has released a pretty nice set of prints entitled “Animals: Collector’s Edition Box Set”. Each of the boxes are handmade with the set coming in an edition of 50 and priced at £225. Sized at 40cm x 30cm, each print is signed and numbered and is based on his Animal Series.
