Faith47 just shared this beautiful piece in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. Titled You Hold No Blame For My Proud Heart, the piece is shows two swans facing each other forming a heard shaped image. Continuing his ongoing project entitled Nomadic Experiment, 2501 recently visited the Tuscany region in Italy, where he created some new, interesting public pieces. During their recent visit to London for the opening of their solo show Overthrone! Pooring Reign (covered), Cyrcle also created a huge mural in Shoreditch. Following the theme and the visual identity of the exhibition, this massive piece features upside down Greek & Roman statues along with an upside down crow, infinity symbol and word REIGN. Earlier this year, we introduced you to the kinetic work of Aaron Li-Hill in one of our Art Focus features. Working in Jersey City on a wall project arranged by Savage Habit, the New York-based artist has recently painted one of his motion-filled portraits inspired by the movements seen in ping pong. AM just received several exclusive images of the works Ernest Zacharevic made for his solo show opening at Montana Gallery in Barcelona on the 21st of March. Rock, Paper, Scissors! is the first European solo show for the young Lithuanian artist and is already getting a lot of international attention. Earlier this month, we shared some shots of work from artist JR (interviewed) from his solo at Museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden, Germany. Not surprisingly, while there, the French “photograffeur” spent time on the streets working on new pieces to share with the public. Continuing the concepts of his UNFRAMED project, he visited residents in the area and chose some of their photos to paste up, exploring the city’s history as the link between Germany and France. Last month, AM caught up with Brooklyn based artist Maya Hayuk as she braved the polar vortex conditions that have plagued NYC all winter. Spending more than a week hand painting the entire Bowery and Houston mural with her signature style, she was finally able to completed her visual contribution to the iconic New York street corner. Recently, we received final photos & video footage of an independent project that took place in Wynwood, Miami, during Art Basel Week last year.
