Streets: Invader (Paris)

After filling the Jonathan LeVine booth (covered) with his tiled works during Basel Week Miami, Invader has returned to the streets in his home city of Paris recently with this new piece. Streets: Eduardo Kobra (Brazil)

After making hitting both coasts of the US with his mural work (New York & Los Angeles), Eduardo Kobra has returned home for a new large scale project in Brazil. The 52 meter tall piece covers the entire side of a skyscraper on Paulista Avenue, one of Sao Paulo’s busiest streets, and is Kobra’s tribute to the famed Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, who passed away last December at the age of 104. Streets: Miss Van (Brazil)

Street femme fatale and intrepid traveller Miss Van has been spotted in frolicking in Brazil, in particular getting up in Sao Paulo. While visiting friends like Zezao and Ciro Schu, she took time to paint one of her signature Poupee characters near an abandoned factory – one of her first outdoor pieces for 2013. Streets: Interesni Kazki (India)

As you saw from one of our Streets: World Roundup articles earlier this month, Waone from Interesni Kazki has been traveling through India. It looks like he was able to keep painting as photos a new mural entitled Sadhu have been recently released. The wall located in south-west region of Kerala on the Malabar coast features locally influenced imagery on topics like meditation and the peacock dance that is common in the region.  Check out some more detailed shots below… Discuss Interesni Kazki here.

Streets: Philippe Baudelocque (Paris)

French street muralist Philippe Baudelocque recently painted a new piece in his home city in his signature style. The gorilla joins his menagerie of animals that have made it onto walls in Paris, rendered in a patchwork of abstract patterns. This was placed on the door of Magnum Photo’s Paris office. It looks like another company has tapped the art world for a collaborative line of products with the announcement of new joint venture from Coach and Craig Costello. Newly formed art collective devNgosha recently stopped by the offices of theAudience and painted a new mural entitled Connected. Situated in the same building that houses work from JR (covered) and Kozyndan (covered), this new multi-wall project combines the talents of Devin Liston and Gosha Levochkin.
