On the first of October, the Carmichael Gallery will welcome father and son duo, Eriberto and Estevan Oriol, to Culver City for an exhibition together. Openings: Greg Lamarche – “I Can See For Miles” @ Known Gallery

Last weekend, in addition to Haze’s work, the Known Gallery also featured the work of another New York-based artist – Greg Lamarche (interviewed). Entitled I Can See For Miles, the exhibition included eleven pieces in total highlighting the artist’s signature lettering and collage-like design. Also tying his graffiti roots to the gallery space, he painted one of the walls with black lettering that certainly helped remind the visitor where he came from. More photos after the jump…

AM recently attended the star studded charity art show Made In Polaroid held at Phillips de Pury. The benefit was a one night auction that featured 50 works created by the 50-50-50 project using Polaroid’s mobile printer. All proceeds went to support Free Arts NYC. Over the weekend, Subliminal Projects brought in a power trio of graffiti legends in their show titled Three Kings. Featuring the work of Fab 5 Freddy, Futura 2000 and Lee Quinones, the show brought in writers who each have a different and unique style. Still showing through the rest of the week until the 24th is the FriendsWithYou exhibition in Paris. In The Beginning at colette features the Miami design collective’s bronze sculptures, series of prints including two exclusive to the store, an animation video piece, wall murals, as well as a plethora of art products. FWY also designed the storefront and the “water bar” space of the gallery, all based on the theme of expressing the inner-child inside all of us. More photos after the jump…

On October 22nd, the Corey Helford Gallery will be presenting Ray Caesar’s first solo show that we will attend since the beginning of the year in New York.
