Openings: Movers and Shakers @ POV Evolving

“Movers and Shakers” (previewed) opened on Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles’ Chinatown at POV Evolving Gallery and AM dropped by to check it out. Banksy @ Dreweatts’ “Urban Art”

Two original works by Banksy, “No Ball Games” and “Go Flock Yourself,” will be auctioned off on February 26th at the London flagship location of Selfridges when they host “Urban Art” in conjunction with auction house Dreweatts. Banksy collectors will surely be keeping a close eye on these two lots to see how prices hold up during this global economic crisis. “No Ball Games,” measuring 91 x 91.5 cm, carries an estimate of £30,000-60,000. Creative Process: Stella Im Hultberg

Stella Im Hultberg’s show “The Insentient World” (teased) is opening tonight at Roq La Rue showing concurrently with Andrew Hem’s (interviewed) show.  Her show will feature approximately six canvas paintings and six tea-stained paper pieces.  She took a little time out from her busy schedule to work on a creative process feature for our readers focusing on one of her canvas works (12″ x 14″) entitled “Nobody and Everyone Else.”  Take a look after the jump.
