Preview: Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada @ Galería Ignacio de Lassaletta

Cuban American artist Jorge Rodriguez-Guerada, known for his large scale charcoal photorealistic portraits on buildings since the 90s, will be presenting a new solo show (catalogue) at Galería Ignacio de Lassaletta, Barcelona on November 24th. The body of work will consist of a new collection of “Urban Analogies” made of charcoal drawings on 250 years old walls surfaces and “Memorylithics” sculptures using antique architectural elements. Preview / Setup: Interesni Kazki – “Nothing Special” @ Mid-City Arts

AM stopped by Mid-City Arts yesterday to visit with Ukranian duo, Interesni Kazki, as they prepared a new body of work for their show opening on Saturday night, November 19th. Preview: SIXEART – “Cosmovisión Andina y los Hijos del Inti” @ Galería N2

Opening this Thursday 17 November, Sixeart is back to the N2 Galería, in Barcelona, Spain, where some of the discerning public found out about his work a year before the Tate Modern discovered him. The new solo show entitled Cosmovisión Andina y los Hijos del Inti is an approximation to the ancient cultures of the Andes, full of colour, wisdom and misticism.
