On August 9th (8 am PST), James Jean (interviewed) will be releasing a catalog of his show last year in Japan at Hidari Zingaro Gallery (covered). Curated by Takashi Murakami, the work for the exhibition in Tokyo was entitled Zugzwang, which now will be documented fully in this 80 page publication. Releases: Paco Pomet – “Habia Una Vez (Once Upon a Time)” Print

Award winning printer Christian M. Walter recently released a new limited edition by Spanish artist Paco Pomet whose work often touching on environmental issues and human behavior. For this project, the Andalucian painter chose Habia Una Vez (Once Upon a Time), a painting that was included in last year’s Dismaland event by Banksy (covered) and kept by him for his personal collection. Argentinian artist Elian Chali recently released his book entitled Hábitat. The softcover publication was released in edition of 1000 and it includes 208 pages with photographs, three essays and a foreword written by Martha Cooper (interviewed). In a conceptual sense, the book is a look over a city from the point of view of a regular person. Releases: Josh Keyes – “Guardian” Print

Coming up on August 8th, Josh Keyes (interviewed) will be releasing a new Artist Collectable archival print on wood entitled Guardian. Produced in an edition of 250, it will measure 9”x12”x1 5/8″ and come in a satin black frame. The price will be $250 so head over here if you are interested in adding it to your collection. Releases: Ian Francis – “Revolving Cage” Print

Lazarides just announced the release of a new print from Ian Francis (featured) entitled Revolving Cage. The image is taken from a painting he submitted earlier this year for the gallery’s 10 year anniversary show (covered) and features the British artist’s melding of photorealistic and abstract imagery. Releases: Finok – “Afogando Mágoas (Drowning Sorrows)” Print

A few days ago, Raphael Sagarra aka Finok self-released his latest limited edition. Combining giclee and silkscreen, the Brazilian artist produced Afogando Mágoas (Drowning Sorrows) in an edition of 140 + 20 AP’s. The image is a classic example of Finok’s signature works – using dominating green tones, he mixed traditional elements from Brazilian folk art with his playful graffiti-based characters. Releases: Kevin Cyr – “4 Queens” Print

Kevin Cyr recently released a print through Dynamo Editions entitled 4 Queens in a low edition of 25 featuring some of his signature distressed and graffiti covered vehicles.  Interestingly enough as you can see from the photos below, the van started blank before the Brooklyn-based artist starts his hand embellishing process. Scott Campbell x Hennessy – VS Cognac Bottle

This week, we saw the release of Hennessy’s annual artist designed VS cognac bottle, tapping contemporary & tattoo artist Scott Campbell for the new look. Continuing their design work, Dabs Myla recently collaborated with Vans on a footwear and apparel collection for women featuring the duo’s imagery. Included in the set are the classic Sk8-Hi Sli, Authentic and Classic Slip-Ons shoes as well as a T-shirt, hoodie, tee dress, backpack, trucker hat, and canoodle socks. Releases: Franco “Jaz” Fasoli – “Untitled” Bronze Sculpture

Last month, Francisco “Jaz” Fasoli revealed the first piece in a series of upcoming bronze sculpture editions. Sculpted by the artist himself, the untitled sculpt was produced in Barcelona in a limited edition of only 8 pieces.
