A few days ago, Raphael Sagarra aka Finok self-released his latest limited edition. Combining giclee and silkscreen, the Brazilian artist produced Afogando Mágoas (Drowning Sorrows) in an edition of 140 + 20 AP’s.

The image is a classic example of Finok’s signature works – using dominating green tones, he mixed traditional elements from Brazilian folk art with his playful graffiti-based characters. Depicting a bottle with a face drowning inside surrounded by 5 golden suns, the edition was created on Hahnemuhle 188g  cotton paper measuring 35 cm x 25 cm (13.7 x 9.8 inches approx), and is stamped, signed, and numbered. For those interested, they are available directly from the artist via [email protected].
