As we suspected, Banksy wasn’t done with Los Angeles after the first stencil (security guard with Koons dog) he put up yesterday. Seen above is a newly discovered piece in downtown LA that is raising expectations for the special premiere of his documentary tonight in a secret location. As opposed to his premiere in NY (btw, we are giving a poster away in that article), the Bristol Bomber actually appears to be in town for this screening and by not announcing where it will be […]

As his upcoming show at NYC’s Joshua Liner gallery quickly approaches in just a couple weeks, Shawn Barber (featured) recently sat down with AM for a quick discussion on the art of getting, giving and painting tattoos. Known primarily for his sittings with tattoo legends and artists, Shawn’s latest exposition, “Tattooed Portraits: Chronicle” looks to be no less than the stellar work we’ve come to expect, as evidenced by the teaser images he’s sent our way. Full interview and show preview after the jump.

By now, you all use be familiar with the Banksy and Robbo situation in Camden. It didn’t take long for Team Robbo to respond to the recent modifications to the four stencils at the canal by either some enterprising fans of the street artist or Mr. B himself. With one of the recent changes in an apparent response to a facebook image that Robbo’s crew found offensive, it’s no longer clear who all is involved in this fiasco as we are pretty sure that Banksy […]

Parisian artist LUDO (interviewed) took time recently to put up some new works in the streets even while working on his first solo show next month in Paris. We are definitely looking forward to seeing how his works translate in the gallery setting, but from the look of things, he’s continuing to explore his “Nature’s Revenge” series. More images after the jump

As we previewed last week, upstart street art conglomerate TrustoCorp (featured) delivered the goods this past weekend in New York City. Combining quality design, public awareness and some good old fashioned mischief, the anonymous board of directors of the Rebranding division of TrustoCorp Intl. went all out in their latest public hijacking. If you’re in the greater New York area, keep an open eye out next time you’re shopping, if you’re lucky you’ll stumble across a TrustoCorp product. If you’re even luckier, you’ll be able […]
