On Thursday, July 21st, Pejac revealed his long awaited London solo show for a private viewing. Controversy Surrounding The South Park 20th Anniversary Show Censorship

Tonight, the South Park 20th Anniversary Show held in conjunction with San Diego Comic-Con unveiled works from artists asked to create works influenced by the animated series. Included here are some of the pieces painted for the exhibition, but the two first ones from Paul Insect (above) and Andrew Schoultz (directly below) were allegedly censored by the South Park Public Relations Team. Previews: Cinta Vidal – “Gravities” @ Thinkspace

This Saturday night (July 23rd) in Thinkspace’s project room, Cinta Vidal will be unveiling a new series of paintings featuring her signature gravity-defying imagery. When you look architectural structures that the Spanish artist paints, you will quickly see the inhabitants defy the laws of physics. Upcoming: OSGEMEOS – “Silence of the Music” @ Lehmann Maupin (New York)

Coming up on September 8, OSGEMEOS will be opening their solo show at the 536 West 22nd Street location of Lehmann Maupin in New York. Entitled Silence of the Music, the show will continue the duo’s series of works featuring yellow and brown skinned characters juxtaposed against patterned backgrounds and urban environments. Releases: Ian Francis – “Revolving Cage” Print

Lazarides just announced the release of a new print from Ian Francis (featured) entitled Revolving Cage. The image is taken from a painting he submitted earlier this year for the gallery’s 10 year anniversary show (covered) and features the British artist’s melding of photorealistic and abstract imagery. Available in a run of 100 and sized at 50 cm x 70 cm, the signed and numbered edition costs £175.00 and can be purchased here. Discuss Ian Francis here.

Law of the Weakest, the first major solo exhibition by Spanish artist Pejac, opens this Friday, 22 July in London.
