New Dalek Mural (North Ridge Basketball Academy)

Just in time for winter mini camp, James Marshall aka Dalek (interviewed) recently completed new murals at the North Ridge Basketball Academy. The locally based artist harnessed his signature gradiated geometric aesthetic to paint the walls high up in a gym that any hoops fan would love to play in, perfectly capturing the organization’s philosophy and ministry. Coming up on January 10th, Thinkspace in Los Angeles will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary with La Familia, a group exhibition featuring over 100 participants. Each artist will be creating a 10″ x 10″ piece on panel (provided by Trekell) like what Scott Listfield painted above – an intriguing post-apocalyptic look at the Culver City gallery where only their EINE painted roll down door survived.
