Upcoming: Tauba Auerbach for “Field Conditions” @ SFMOMA

Update: Space//Form Group Exhibition @ Breeze Block Gallery

Phil Frost Custom T Rex

Recently, Phil Frost posted up images of a new piece he finished featuring his intricate typographical patterns painted over a T Rex figures. Transferring his technique of layering his signature iconography over found objects onto this large custom, the NY-based artist has created a unique take on the Tyrannosaurus rex, made popular in recent times from the Toy Story movies. Last week, the Merry Karnowsky Gallery also presented work from Vonn Sumner, who was showing alongside Nicola Verlato (covered). Releases: Wes Lang – “Warrior Skull”

Artist Wes Lang has a new print entitled Warrior Skull. This image is the centerpiece of the new Grateful Dead box set Spring 1990. There’s two versions of this limited edition, the first is a run of 50 sized at 17″ x21″ and the second is a run of 10 sized at 34″ x 41″. Get yours here if interested.
