Got an email this morning from Mindstyle about the release of Ron English’s Abraham Obama Bust. Along with Shepard Fairey’s work, the Obama x Abraham Lincoln remix by English would probably be one of the top two most iconic Obama images out there. In conjunction with their upcoming show Regime Change Starts at Home, featuring Shepard Fairey, Al Farrow and Paul D. Miller, DC’s Irvine Contemporary Gallery will be releasing a new Obey silkscreen print entitled Rose Girl. The print will be an edition of 450 and will be available for $100 only in-person at the gallery. The exhibition opens October 18th.
