Basel Week Miami ’18 / Recap: Pulse Art Fair

The 14th edition the Pulse Art Fair returned to its oceanfront home at Indian Beach Park in Miami Beach this year, showing works selected by 70 international contemporary art galleries. Divided into two separate pavilions, the exhibitors either presented a selection of artists, had solo show booths, or were part of the Conversations program in which two artists were paired for this special concept. Basel Week Miami ’18 / First Look: Art Basel

This week, the art world congregated in Miami once again for Art Basel week. Taking center stage was of course the main fair featuring 200 of the world’s leading galleries displaying artworks by over 4,000 artists. Visitors were able to enjoy a wide range of works including paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, films, and editioned works – here are just a few of the pieces that caught our eyes including a wall of Ai Weiwei fingers. Basel Week Miami ’18 / Releases: James Joyce @ Juxtapoz Clubhouse

As a part of this year’s Juxtapoz Clubhouse program at Basel Week Miami, James Joyce will be signing and selling his two newest limited edition prints at the main location (200 E Flagler). The two images are new variants of his iconic clown-smiley face series that eventually became one of the most recognizable images from Banksy’s Dismaland project a few years back. Tomorrow (November 30th) is the public opening of Ethereal at Goldman Global Arts in Miami, Vhils’ (interviewed) latest solo show.
