Last time we were with Pharrell & Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin, it was at Art Basel Miami. Over a half year later, they reveal this secret project at Art Basel Switzerland. Just when “Carnival” ends in Rio de Janerio, latin street legends Os Gemeos come along to keep Brazil pumping. The twins from Sao Paulo brings their visual parade to the CCBB of Rio de Janerio (Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil). Armory Focus: Mizuma Art @ Armory NYC

Japan’s Mizuma gallery made quite a splash at this year’s Armory, selling out most of the art they imported from the land of the rising sun. As usual, their booth was filled with some of Japan’s notables: Akino Kondoh, Sashie Masakatsu, Makoto Aida, Aoyama Satoru, andÂ Tanada Koji to name a few. Takashi Murakami’s Geisai 12 Art Fair

AM was excited to have been in attendance for the 12th installment of Takashi Murakami’s self-represented artist art fair, Geisai, held in Tokyo, Sunday March 8. It was quite an experience, with hundreds of young and emerging artists presenting their own paintings, drawings, sculptures or performance art together for one whirlwind day. During Armory Week, there were a few things that caught our attention. One of the highlights of the Bridge Art Fair was British gallery Opus Art who traveled from the UK to show New York just what they have to offer.
