Releases: Clayton Brothers – “Caught Being Good” Book & “Floret” Print Set

We’ve received some pretty interesting news from the Clayton Brothers, who recently had a show at Patrick Painter (covered) – a limited edition release that includes both a publication “Caught Being Good” and a hand finished giclee entitled “Floret” all enclosed in a slick Lucite box. Releases: Shepard Fairey x Michael Jordan x Upper Deck – Hall of Fame Tribute Series

We recently tipped you off about the upcoming Michael Jordan Hall of Fame Tribute Series created by Shepard Fairey and Upper Deck. Now the final two images have been revealed. The first is of his Hall of Fame induction portrait and second of his “Air-ness” in his UNC blue days. The first release is the complete set (signed by both Jordan and Shepard) available on ObeyGiant.com tomorrow, Sept 17th. Releases: Murakami – Inochi Figures

The Inochi figures from Takashi Murakami, that we first featured here in April when they were exhibited at Kaikai Kiki, are finally going on sale tomorrow, August 28th at honeyee.  The figures are small scale replicas of the Murakami sculpture (seen here) with production handled by Medicom. Limited to 200 of each of the five colorways, it will cost you a cool $1500 to bring “Zhang,” “Victor,” “Bob,” “David,” or “Yamamoto” home. More pics after the jump.

Publications: Ryan McGinley – “Moonmilk” Book

Looks like the book we mentioned when we first told you about Ryan McGinley’s upcoming show is ready for preorder.  Entitled “Moonmilk,” the same as McGinley’s show, which is set to open Alison Jacques Gallery on September 11th, the book documents his subterranean explorations for this body of work (previewed). Releases: Kaws x Undercover Bear Companion

Here are some new images of the collaboration release from Undercover with their classic “eye-censored” bear and Kaws’ companion figure.  Sitting together, perhaps Mori Chack-style, the figure comes in white as well as black.  Priced at about $135, look for the release on August 29th at Undercover locations across Japan and perhaps Original Fake as well. Releases: Scott Musgrove – “The Late Fauna of Early North America” Box Set

The ever-so talented, Seattle-based artist Scott Musgrove balances his time retracing forgotten animals of generations past and reincarnating those extinct creatures with masterful precision at the easel. For those hunkering for some Musgrove goodness before his 2010 solo show at Jonathan Levine, we have just the thing. A recently released Limited Edition Box Set of his newest book, entitled “The Late Fauna of Early North America,” gives life to the lost species of yesteryear in super swanky fashion. Releases: Brandi Milne – Humpty Dumpty Plushes

Brandi Milne recently put up these hand-crafter and hand-painted Humpty Dumpty plushes up for sale on her website.  She states that she was inspired by “the character Humpty Dumpty and Alice In Wonderland’s Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum” when creating these.  She is currently hard at work on her next solo show scheduled for June 2010. Releases: Marion Peck – F*ck You print
