On Thursday, AM attended the private screening of Banksy’s much anticipated documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop in New York City. This early preview was hosted at the pimp Tribeca Grand and was made possible by renowned director Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me & Where In The World Is Osama bin Laden?) who graciously hosted the screening. With the imminent U.S. release of the much anticipated Banksy mockumentary, “Exit Through The Gift Shop” days away street art fans are being thrown a bone with this fantastic new extended trailer of the film. Street art lovers will be happy to hear that two pretty awesome films “Dirty Hands” and “Exit Through The Gift Shop” from David Choe (featured) and Banksy respectively will be opening in select cities in the United States. After screening at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals, Banksy’s “Exit Through the Gift Shop” documentary premiered in the UK at a some special screenings early this week in a tunnel underneath the Waterloo train station dubbed “Lambeth Palace.” Of course, anything the famous street artist puts on is not a simple affair. So… Pretty much all the speculations have been confirmed that Banksy indeed is premiering his documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop” at the Sundance Film Festival. Some very interesting developments over in Park City, Utah where the Sundance Film Festival is about to get underway. Apparently, about four new alleged Banksy stencils have popped up, with the one seen above being the best one so far.
