If you enjoyed the first part of our coverage of David Shrigley’s retrospective at the Hayward Gallery in London, here is a second set of photos for you to peruse. With about ten days left until Brain Activity closes forever, now would be time to head over for a look yourself. Last weekend, the Thinkspace Gallery hosted the opening for the Morgan Spurlock (interviewed) curated New Blood. Frieze Week NYC ’12: Geoff McFetridge for COOPER COLE @ PULSE

With the Frieze Art Fair opening this weekend in New York, the PULSE Art Fair also took the opportunity to woo art collectors at the same time. Opening today, one of the booths to visit at PULSE is definitely the Toronto-based gallery Cooper Cole and new works from Geoff McFetridge. There is no rest for the weary as New York based artist Tomokazu Matsuyama (interviewed) prepares to open a new exhibition in San Francisco at Frey Norris Contemporary. Releases: Josh Keyes x Tiny Showcase – “The Collector” Print

It looks like Tiny Showcase has another quality release on their hands. The Collector from Josh Keyes (interviewed) will be available for purchase from now until May 8th with some of the proceeds to benefit International Rhino Foundation. Opening on May 26 (and running until Sept 16) at me Collectors Room Berlin is an exhibition featuring the collection of Selim Varol, who is known for being a part of the Toy Giants project, Toykio Cafe and Gallery, and Gallery Springmann.Varol. Teaser: 2012 White Columns Benefit Exhibition + Auction

Currently on auction at White Columns are works from over 80 artists to benefit the not-for-profit gallery near the border of West Village and the Meat Packing District in New York. Last week, Subliminal Projects was fortunate enough to host an exhibition by British artist Stanley Donwood. Known as the key force in shaping Radiohead’s album covers for more than a decade, Donwood brought a series of works depicting the city of Los Angeles in a world of chaos and cataclysm for this showing.
