We recently brought you a look at artists at work on the Urban Nation’s Project M/4 in Berlin, curated by Thinkspace. Participants including Andrew Schoultz, C215, Curiot, Fernando Chamarelli, Glenn Barr, Joao Ruas, Low Bros, Nosego, Word To Mother, Alexis Diaz (aka La Pandilla), Karl Addison, and Dabs Myla were asked to create large window murals as well as working on the facade of the building. POW! WOW! ’14 / Streets: Dabs Myla x Misery

Australian graffiti couple, Dabs Myla, teamed up with their New Zealand friend, Misery, for a big mural collaboration at POW! WOW! Hawaii this year. With all the artists usually painting cheerful characters and cartoonish designs, this joint effort resulted in an explosion of cuteness in Kaka’ako, an industrial neighbourhood of Honolulu. A major component of the POW WOW festival in Hawaii is of course the public art that goes up over a week, mostly in the industrial district of Kaka’ako. Last night in conjunction with POWWOW ’14, RVCA & The Seventh Letter teamed up to put on an exhibition featuring some of the graffiti & street artists they are affiliated with. Projects: Library Street Collective Indoor Murals @ The Z (Detroit)

The Detroit-based gallery, Library Street Collective, recently started a big project in downtown Detroit. In collaboration with Detroit entrepreneur/real estate mogul Dan Gilbert, they are commissioning 23 artists from all over the world to paint murals in a newly constructed mixed-use development (referred to as “The Z”). Known as The Garage Project or The Z, this project is now about 30% done.
