With this year’s POW! WOW! Hawaii fast approaching, it’s time to preview the annual associated Exploring The New Contemporary Movement group exhibition (see 2017 & 2016 & 2015 & 2014) curated by Thinkspace. Streets: Roa & Ever (Buenos Aires)

The anatomical dissections of local animals and Chinese propaganda, two types of imagery that you wouldn’t think would work as a collaboration. However, that is exactly what happened when ROA and Ever joined forces in Argentina for a joint mural entitled The people feed communism to the beast. This piece, painted over the Christmas holiday, was placed on a squatted building in Palermo Viejo in Buenos Aires and features Mao head offered up to an elephant seal. Photo credit: Graffitimundo. Open Walls Baltimore

A new project coordinated by Gaia in his home city has kicked off recently with this mural from the young street artist. Open Walls Baltimore is a public art initiative in a neighborhood burdened by 150 vacant homes and hopes to bridge the gaps between the artist community that calls Station North home and the residents of Greenmount West. To start off our summary of walls this week, we get news that Ludo has been in Paris getting some new fake xray ads like this piece with a hand skeleton seen inside a mosquito.
