On the 22nd of November, UTBNYC will be opening their first charity benefit show entitled Home Sweet Home. For this exhibition, they invited 30 artists from all over the world to participate and help the cause. Last month, AM stopped by the original Record Plant in New York to check out the largest outdoor mural to date from Faile (featured). Designed by the Patrick’s and painted by Colossal Media, the massive piece on the side of the building in Hell’s Kitchen features some of the collective’s signature imagery. If you missed it last year, tomorrow (October 30) around noon (Eastern Standard Time), Faile will be releasing some more new book covers with imagery from their recent show Les Ballets de Faile (Part I, Part II) at the New York City Ballet in New York. Priced at $1,250, each one will be unique with silk screened images overtop collaged paper as well as float mounted in a white frame. The anticipation has been building in the art community on Faile’s upcoming exhibition at the Dallas Contemporary. After a comprehensive series of shows in collaboration with the New York City Ballet earlier this year, the Brooklyn collective known as Faile haven’t had any time to rest. Our friends at Very Nearly Almost (VNA) recently held a release party to celebrate the launch of their latest issue where Brooklyn collective Faile (featured) created a limited edition print by silkscreening their artwork on the cover. The Wooster Collective recently celebrated their 10th anniversary of existence with a massive show at New York’s Jonathan LeVine Gallery.
