We recently showed you the stunning mural done by Conor Harrington for the “Outsiders” show at The New Art Gallery Walsall. Well, here are some more photos of the other artwork for you to peruse. The show features Blu, David Choe, Miranda Donovan, Faile, Conor Harrington, Todd James a.k.a REAS (seen above), Paul Insect, Invader, Lucy McLauchlan, Antony Micallef, Polly Morgan, JR, Vhils, Jonathan Yeo, and Zevs and appears to have some different pieces when compared to the “Outsiders” show in New York. Group Show @ Lazarides (Newcastle)

Here are some photos of the group show at Lazarides (Newcastle) that has been running concurrently with the Candice Tripp show.Â Although, some of the work is old, there still were some interesting pieces including this older style Faile box.Â Other artists included Blu, Bast, Lucy Mclauchlan, Mode2, Antonio Diaz, JR, David Choe, Jonathan Yeo, Stanley Donwood, Kelsey Brookes, Micallef, Paul Insect, Conor Harrington, and 3D (Robert Del Naja) Rest of the photos after the jump.

Looks like some clever impersonators are on the loose in the UK. After some of the art Faile pasted up (coinciding with their recent show) was stolen, someone put up these pieces (with a style that imitates Faile) in the same exact spot. At an abandoned school house in Vauxhall, UKÂ last night, Faile and Lazarides held a special opening reception for their new show:Â Lost In Glimmering Shadows. There was much speculation and rumors regarding their new works which included Wood Palettes and Prayer Wheels. Looks like the Faile collective is working on something a little different for their upcoming show in London. They will be taking over an abandoned schoolhouse (seem to be a common Lazarides tactic nowadays) in Vauxhall for a ten-day project with the opening planned for November 7th. Their show, entitled “Lost the Glimmering Shadows” will be incorporating some Native American imagery along with their distinctive torn poster look. This image as well as the one after the jump show them hard at work…

So after tearing up the UK urban art scene for the past few years… the infamous Lazarides is going to hold a surprise show in the “big apple” next week. Laz is a UK gallery known for representing some of the most notable artists in the Urban/Street scene such as Banksy, Micallef and Faile.
