Streets: Life Is Beautiful 2016 (Las Vegas)

For this year’s Life Is Beautiful arts and music festival, JUSTKIDS / Charlotte Dutoit once again put together a worthy roster to add their unique talents to the outdoor vistas of downtown Las Vegas. POW! WOW! Long Beach ’16 / Streets: Update

The second edition of POW! WOW! Long Beach is underway with artists painting in the streets as well as inside the Long Beach Museum of Art for the upcoming Vitality & Verve: In The Third Dimension show (covered). Streets: Felipe Pantone (Paris)

Last month, Felipe Pantone visited Paris in order to create his contribution to the ongoing Lasco Project curated by Hugo Vitrani for Palais De Tokyo. Following the work from Stelios Faitakis, Olivier Kosta-Théfaine, Philippe Baudelocque, JR and Os Gemeos for the project, the prolific Argentinian-born artist and his team painted an impressive installation in the tunnel of the A86 Duplex, between Rueil-Malmaison in Vélizy, west of Paris. Starting this week, artists have been hard at work painting murals for this year’s POW! WOW! Hawaii. Beautifying the streets of Kaka’ako in Oahu with their imagery, the participants get to enjoy the tropical weather and throngs of fans as they leave their mark at the annual event.
