A couple weeks ago, the 20th anniversary of cult hit television show Twin Peaks was celebrated with a group exhibition at the Copro Gallery entitled Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Preview: “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” @ Copro Gallery

As a followup to a similarly themed show last year, the Copro Gallery will be hosting Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me next Saturday, April 21st. Besides artwork depicting the dark side of the iconic television series, the event will also feature unreleased music from the series, David Lynch coffee and donuts, and a video installation of the Red Room as well as many other surprises and surprise guests. After showing at La Luz de Jesus in June, Glenn Barr has opened his next show, this time in Italy. Held at MondoPop in Rome, Faces & Small Epics is billed as the Detroit-based painter’s first European solo. From the looks of things, Barr brought with him some new paintings, drawings, and prints for this exhibition and you certainly want to stop by if you are in the area to check it out before it closes on December 3rd. Showing at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, Glenn Barr debuted his book, Faces, along with a multitude of new paintings that focus on the human expression. This new work clearly displays Barr’s background in animation, but it also features influences that range from late 1960s television to fantasy and science fiction motifs. AM recently attended a special signing party for the 3D Art Book (previewed) hosted at the Opera Gallery in New York.
