Following our recently curated group exhibitions in Hong Kong; East West Connect and Los Angeles; City of Fire, AM’s UK correspondent Sven Davis has branched out with his own curatorial endeavour Space//Form. The group exhibition brings together over 100 young contemporary artists, and opens 6th September at Portland’s Breeze Block Gallery. Releases: Jeff Soto – “Seeker Friends #5: The Guitarist”

Next Thursday, August 2nd, sees another release from the Seeker Friends series of prints from Jeff Soto (interviewed). The fifth in the line is entitled The Guitarist and again will be sized at 6 x 6″ and cost $25 + shipping with $1 of every sale going to plant one tree through the Plant A Billion Trees program. This past weekend, New York’s Cotton Candy Machine hosted their second annual “tiny” art showcase entitled Tiny Trifecta. As we mentioned in our preview, artists this year upped the ante as each created three pieces of original artwork for fans who may not have the opportunity to purchase their larger scale works. Back in March, we introduced you to a new line of prints from Jeff Soto (interviewed) entitled Seeker Friends. The series of limited editions were from Prints On Wood with each one available for 24 hours after a specified date and time. On Tuesday night, Los Angeles showgoers got their midweek art fix at Stephen Webster when the City of Fire exhibition was unveiled.
