As anticipated, the highly praised “Stages” exhibition made it’s US debut yesterday in a beautiful pop-up space hosted by Deitch Projects in New York’s Soho district. Lance Armstrong and Nike Sportswear’s “Stages” exhibition (previewed here and here) opened up with an amazing roster of artists. This past weekend we previewed the work from â€œStages,â€ (announcement video) the collaborative art project betweenÂ Lance Armstrong andÂ Nike Sportswear opening tomorrow atÂ Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin. AM was on hand at Nike’s MontalbÃ¡n Theater last night for the unveiling of “Stages,” a collaborative art project between Lance Armstrong and Nike Sportswear in which artwork from over twenty-one of today’s most prominent artists from across the globe will be exhibited and sold to support Livestrong, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
