Preview: Laurie Lipton – “Machine Punk” @ La Luz de Jesus

Openings: Tara McPherson – “The Bunny in the Moon” @ Jonathan LeVine Gallery

A couple of Saturdays back, Tara McPherson captivated the NY crowd with a beautiful new body of work entitled “The Bunny in the Moon” at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery. The show consisted of a series of paintings featuring her lovely ladies with their animal friends and a wall installation of one-eyed flower sculptures, all rendered mostly in her signature pink and light blue. Releases: Jeff Soto – “The Seeker” Print

One of our favorite images from Jeff Soto’s (featured) show (covered) last June at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery, “The Seeker” has is being released as a print.  The painting depicts one of the art toys that Jeff released recently at SDCC, and would make a nice companion piece for any collector out there. The print is a 23.5″ x 36″ offset lithograph (edition of 450), and will be offered for $75, but apparently, there is a 15% discount applied to all pre-orders currently.  You can […]
