Teaser: Roland Tamayo – “With Ease” @ Gallery 1988 (LA)

Opening tonight, September 30th, at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles will be a new series of seven paintings from Roland Tamayo (interviewed). Showing alongside Ben Strawn in a joint show is entitled “With Ease”, Roland will be showing paintings with his signature nature / technology juxtapositions. Friends and LA-based artists Edwin Ushiro’s (interviewed) and Yoskay Yamamoto (featured) made their way northwest to attend the opening of their latest joint show at the Roq La Rue a couple of weeks ago. Yoskay bought some works on a new medium for him – paper – as well as some sweet wood sculptures all entitled “lost stories and found memories”.
