Continuing to collaborate artists that speak to a new generation of viewers (see KAWS & Dabs Myla), MTV has tapped the visual language of Jen Stark for 2015’s VMA. Working with host Miley Cyrus on this year’s award show, the Los Angeles-based artist looks to be integrating her recognizable psychedelic & colorful imagery in animations, video spots (example below), ads, and artwork for the stage, among other things. With the 2015 MTV Movie Awards set to go live on April 12th, the television channel has revealed the new logo designed by Dabs Myla. A couple Saturdays ago, the inaugural MTV RE:DEFINE benefit exhibition and auction opened at the Goss-Michael Foundation in Dallas.
