This morning, the Los Angeles MOCA lifted the veil of secrecy on its highly anticipated “Art in the Streets” exhibition. The clock is ticking as the artists are putting the finishing touches on the Art in the Streets exhibition at the MOCA Los Angeles. Set to open to the public this Sunday, the show was in the final stages of preparation as AM stopped by today to check on the progress both indoors and out. Osgemeos – “Slava’s Head” for The Moulin / Dépayz’arts

It looks like Osgemeos has hooked up with The Moulin again for another project, this time to fashion Slava’s head out of a trailer. The character is taken of the famous Russian clown show – Slava’s SnowShow, which is also the subject of an animation that the Brazilian duo are working on (shown here previously). New Image Art’s lineup for this year’s Art Basel Week looks sharp and could be one of the more anticipated offerings at 2010’s art extravaganza in Miami. Recently, AM attended the VIP preview of Tachen’s latest art book: Trespass: A History of Uncommissioned Urban Art. Written by Carlo McCormick, curated by our friends Marc & Sara Schiller at the Wooster Collective, and edited by Ethel Seno, this behemoth houses tons of pictures documenting graffiti and other forms of unsanctioned art all around the globe.
