Showing: Peter Chan – “Jelly Time” @ Giant Robot 2

On view since Aug 18th, Peter Chan’s solo exhibition will be closing on September 5th over at Giant Robot 2 in LA. As his second solo show with the gallery, Jelly Time includes a new series of works that play with the idea of jelly’s transparency and its interaction with different elements. Openings: “Death and the Maiden 2” & Femke Hiemstra – “The Sand Castle Battle and Other Tales” @ Roq la Rue

Her philanthropy has spilled into several animal benefit shows over the […]

Zach’s line up included over 75 artists from all over the globe. Supersonic Art has accrued over 500,000 followers worldwide and it seems like this show gets bigger and better each year. It also […]

Upcoming: Peter Chan – “Soliloquy” @ Copro Gallery

Next Saturday night (June 22nd), the Copro Gallery in Los Angeles will be presenting a new show from Peter Chan. For his first solo with the gallery and in the United States, the Toronto-based artist has created a series of works collectively entitled Soliloquy, a fitting title considering the introspective contemplations he had while producing these paintings (see statement below). Also take a look at the time-lapse video. Top 40 blares out the radio unheard, you’re stuck in traffic on the 405 but it doesn’t matter. […]
