Philippe Baudelocque recently took part in the ongoing BergeStreet event on the banks of the Seine in Paris. Creating one of his signature chalk drawings in public, the Paris-based artist created this interesting, delicate mural inspired by the sculpture of a rhinoceros from the forecourt of the nearby Musée d’Orsay. La Tour 13 (Paris)

Over looking the Seine, La Tour Paris 13‎ is a project curated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh from Galerie Itinerrance. During a year, the entire building was painted by 100 international street and graffiti artists, each leaving their mark with murals and installations within the 36 apartments over 9 floors and cellars. Opening to the public for a month from October 1st, the building is due to be demolished in November, making it the largest temporary street art exhibition in France. French street muralist Philippe Baudelocque recently painted a new piece in his home city in his signature style. The gorilla joins his menagerie of animals that have made it onto walls in Paris, rendered in a patchwork of abstract patterns. This was placed on the door of Magnum Photo’s Paris office. This week’s Streets World Roundup, the last of 2012, is headlined by a new piece from Martin Ron (in collaboration with Frederico Ron) entitled Lujuan Pedro and His Dog (source). Utilizing a mixture of paint and newspapers, Hérard is able to create a whimsical piece for the streets of Paris.
