Last night, Hennessy held a preview launch at New York’s Reed Space for their latest VS cognac bottle designed by Futura (seen here). This pop up event was announced via Hennessy’s twitter and exclusive to only the first 50 fans arriving at the location. The line was long, but worth the wait as each fan (over 21) was given a special Hennessy gift pack containing a signed bottle by the graffiti legend himself. Recap: James Jean – “Rebus” Signing @ Reed Space

After sitting in with James Jean (featured) and catching his motivational talk to students at Pratt, we attended the signing for his newly released Rebus book at Reed Space. As expected, the place was packed with fans eager to get some time with the artist. As previewed, the event also launched his latest Lotus War Pyramid print. Admirably, James left no man behind as he stayed past closing to make sure his fans all got his John Hancock and doodle. Check it out after the jump.

James Jean (featured) is in New York right now and will be making a special stop at Jeff Staple’s Reed Space to conduct a rare signing for his newly released Rebus Book tomorrow, October 23rd (5 – 7 pm).
