Starting tomorrow at 10 am (EST), KAWS will be releasing the pink version of his BFF vinyl figure thru his website. Also available at that time will be the black colorway, and for those completists out there, the MoMA design store will have all three colors (blue, black, and pink) at their physical location as well as online starting tomorrow. Neons are one of Patrick Martinez’s most recognizable series of work, oftentimes utilizing hip-hop inspired snippets of text. For this latest limited edition (run of 25 + 5 APs) entitled I Am, the Los Angeles-based artist has referenced 1968 civil rights protest signs, continuing the aspect of his work that deals with social issues.
