Ryan McGinley, famed photographer, but also aspiring feature film director, recently directed a video (watch it after the jump) for luxury knitwear brand Pringle of Scotland. Athens’ The Breeder graciously sent us some preview images for “Crooked Aisles,” Ryan McGinley’s first solo show in Greece. The exhibition opening January 14 will consist of a varied selection of new and old photographs, including images from McGinley’s summer road trip and “Moonmilk” series, as well as black and white portraits. We previewed Ryan McGinley’s works in this year’s Art Basel Miami previously, now prepare yourselves for pictures from Team Gallery’s booth at the fair. No matter how you picture in your heads how the photographs from small compressed jpegs look framed and in person, it can not prepare you for how fantastic they truly look. After having been featured by Team Gallery at Art Basel Switzerland, the gallery is bringing Ryan McGinley’s newest works to Art Basel Miami. The photographs being shown at the fair continues his Moonmilk series (remember his show at Alison Jacques Gallery?) and also includes some images from his most recent road trip.
