More photos of the opening after the jump…

What you see above is some of the work he will be bringing to Lyon during the opening week of the Lyon Biennale for […]

Streets: Freedom Park (Berlin)

Artists, what would you give to paint on a piece of history? That’s exactly what happened recently in Germany as artists like Nunca, Miss Van, and McBess were asked to paint on remnants of the Berlin Wall like Chor Boogie did last year for the Stroke.03 Art Fair. This time, the pieces were organized together into a Freedom Park event organized by Dudes Factory and Lux Pop Art Group. More photos after the jump…

Openings: Risk & Nathan Ota – “That Was Then, This Is Now” @ LeBasse Projects – Culver City

Titled That Was Then, This Is Now, the show brought together the two long time friends for an exhibit which showcased a superb collection of artwork diplaying each artist’s strengths and respective styles. While Risk’s work often focused on graffiti-type iconography and lettering, Ota rendered the rest of the paintings with finely detailed settings and characters that at times felt surreal and strange. Although […]
