Today on the interwebs, Banksy shared his latest series of works created at the migrant encampment in Calais, France. After successfully releasing his Aérotik Pink Malpa and Aérotik Black Malpa resin sculptures back in February (featured), Bom.K has another sculptural edition to offer. As we continue our look at the prolific street activity centered around the Wynwood District during Basel Week Miami, the next mural that caught our eyes is the collaborative effort between Li-Hill (interviewed) and James Bullough. Taking advantage of how well Li-Hill’s kinetic imagery and Bullough’s glitch-like style mesh together, its creation was timed to coincide with the COP21 Paris Climate Conference. CONTEXT Art Miami was another popular satellite fair for this year’s Basel Week Miami. Paired up with Art Miami, these two events gathered huge crowds over the course of several days. Recap: Usugrow @ Woolloomooloo Xhibit

After a solo last month in Japan (covered), Usugrow followed it up by opening an exhibition in Taipei while there for POW! WOW! Taiwan. The showing presented by Remix ＆ G-SHOCK at the Woolloomooloo Xhibit space featured the Japanese artist’s characteristic mix of urban calligraphy & Los Angeles “cholo” subculture.
