Vhils, Swoon, and Ben Wolf have already all left their mark in Grottaglie for this years Fame Festival. Looks like Aakash Nihalani decided to take matters into his own hands to make sure motorists are able to see stop signs clearly in Brooklyn. Here is a video of a recent urban intervention he performed utilizing some of his classic geometric cutouts. The footage shows in detail how he goes about creating the piece as well as takes you on a walk by some street pieces by other famous artists in the area. Also, some images after the jump…

Streets: Conor Harrington in Palestine

Since we brought you pics of Conor Harrington (interviewed) doing this thing in Israel, it would only be natural for him to also pay a visit to Palestine (hinted as his next step in his blog). Sounds as though he particularly enjoyed overlaying his pieces and interacting with the underlying Arabic graffiti that is prevalent in the area. We can only hope that he will have time to get up on the walls of Los Angeles since the “Eurotrash” show opens soon… Take a closer […]

Nick donated the piece to help raise some funds for the families of soldiers who loose their lives, and for […]

Teasers: Skullphone – “Digital Media” @ Subliminal Projects

LA based street artist Skullphone is coming back to home to show at Subliminal Projects on June 5th. Known well for jacking and flipping billboards in the streets we look forward to Skullphone doing some street runs in anticipation for this event. Maybe we’ll see something similar to our favorite “Skully” projects in which the street artist hacked into an electronic billboard and reprogrammed it to display his infamous skull and cell phone image. Check out more after the jump.

Streets: Nick Walker in Bristol

Most butterflies can only be expected to live for a week or two, but this little winged creature from Nick Walker only lasted for 7 hours before it was tagged over. Such is the nature of street art, but it must be pretty frustrating to see your hard work tagged over with something of little value. The mural is in Bristol, and went up earlier this week. Nick told us he went back yesterday to go over it again. We reckon version number 2 looks […]

Take a look at this video where Samuel is interviewed about his process which includes footage of a pretty sweet McGee etching (who also happens to […]
