Night time at Basel week is where the heavy wheeling and dealing occurs. Galleries and sponsors line up numerous parties for prospective clients. Thursday night was a doubleheader for AM. First stop was the Beautiful/Decay party at the Essex House. Lots of mingling occuring as we met up with the crew from Obey, Cerasoli LeBasse, and White Walls/Shooting Gallery. Preview: Tessar Lo/Moira Hahn @ Roq La Rue

Kirsten from Roq La Rue has sent us an early look at the installation Tessar Lo working on for his two-person show (teased) with Moira Hahn opening tomorrow. That large installation he is setting up looks pretty insane with it’s patchwork of different sized pieces and mediums. Wish we could be there to watch this textured patchwork slowly take shape. One of the most talented and thoughtful young artists that we know, Tessar Lo, is having an exhibition on November 7th in Seattle. By now, most of you have probably seen a couple images from the show on the news page of Roq La Rue‘s new website (for example, what is to be one of the larger pieces *seen above*).
