Benefits: MS Fundraiser for Tim Strazza @ Joshua Liner Gallery

This Thursday, a very special art fundraiser will be held at Joshua Liner Gallery for our friend Tim Strazza who was unfortunately diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. We are helping to sponsor a benefit event where all proceeds will go to his medical bills. It’s that time of the year again. Haunch of Venison will again play host to the heavy hitting benefit by HiArt! (last year). Releases: Tomokazu Matsuyama x Paper Monster – “Running Even Deep”

Our friends at Paper Monster have been working long and hard on a very special print by Tomokazu “Matsu” Matsuyama (interviewed). Entitled Running Even Deep, the print involved a 23-layer screenprinting process using oil based inks, as well as giclee, on thick deckled-edged paper. In addition, every one of the very limited edition of 50 has been uniquely spray-painted by Matsu himself. Releases: Tomokazu Matsuyama x NSW x Medicom Bearbrick Pack

As hinted in our previous coverage of Tomokazu “Matsu” Matsuyama’s (interviewed) collaboration with Medicom, there is another surprise collaborator in this project: Nike. The unique artwork/pattern designed by Matsu for the Bearbrick project was utilized for a Nike Sportswear package which is coming out this month. This very limited set contains the medicom bearbrick (covered), a slick NSW Sportsman Jacket and a newly designed Nike Tekapo Slide Sandal.
