Videos: Eric Shaw x Wild Nothing Music Video

If like us, you enjoy the superflat yet explosive paintings of New York painter Eric Shaw, you might be interested to see his work come to life. Shaw recently collaborated with indie rock band Wild Nothing and director / animator Hayley Atkins on the video for their single A Dancing Shell. Furthermore, Eric Shaw also produced the limited edition packaging (pictured below) for the band’s Empty Estate ep, from which the track is taken. Discuss this artist here.

Videos: ROA x Stop Over

If you remember from earlier this year, Belgium-based artist ROA put on a homecoming show in Brussels at Bodson-Emelinckx Gallery entitled Stop Over. Streets: Jeff Soto & Maxx242 (Berlin) – Part II

Jeff Soto (interviewed) has sent over a final photo of the mural (see Part I) he was working on with Maxx242 while they were in town for a presentation at Pictoplasma. The two decided on an owl, skull, and octopus themed piece for Berlin as well as some other miscellaneous action around town. Films: “OBEY THE GIANT” – The Story of Shepard Fairey

Last year, we shared a project with you that was asking for funding on kickstarter – the first narrative film based on the story of Shepard Fairey. As some of you may know (or even supported), the money raiser was fully funded – and now, the finished movie has been released online on the official website. Take a look below as the hard work of Julian Marshall, a student at Shep’s alma mater RISD, and his friends is finally realized. Discuss Shepard Fairey here.
