Streets / Releases: Saber x Zes (Los Angeles) & Originals

Like they did in 2014 (covered), the AWR/MSK affiliated SABER (interviewed) and ZES recently collaborated on another impressive mural in Los Angeles, this time at the American Tea Room building. The piece in Downtown was made possible with special thanks to Montana Colors USA, The Seventh Letter, as well as Branded Arts and is another example of the locally-based writers’ synergistic artistic energy. Streets: World Roundup (Jun 2 – Jun 15)

Time for another one of our Streets: World Roundup articles. This new edition features up top a new collaboration wall from SABER (interviewed) and ZES at the Artist & Craftsman Supply building in Los Angeles. The motor city has become one of the hotspots for street activity recently as the tanking economy has ironically led to more abandoned buildings facilitating the rise of public art. A little late notice, but tonight in Los Angeles, MSK brothers RETNA (featured) and ZES will be opening a show together at the Known Gallery. Introduced in their youth by their mutual friend AYER, ZES and RETNA led parallel lives through an upbringing in graffiti.
