On LA’s famous Melrose Ave, near Fairfax Ave lies a collaboration by two of the city’s most pioneering street and graffiti artists. The last time we hung out with Ben Eine was when he was painting the “Alphabet Street” in London. He has since made headlines by entering Obama’s collection and now appears to have traveled to Cape Town to do some work. Take a look this nice project as he painted over some large vats with “FAIR SPONTANEOUS PASSIONATE CHANGE THE WORLD AND CELEBRATE.” Take a look at a couple of in progress shots as well as more shutters from South Africa after the jump…

Streets: LX One & Remi/Rough in Strasbourg

Two parts of the Agents of Change collective – LX One and Remi/Rough – were recently in Strasbourg to paint a large wall as part of the 10th anniversary party for French-cool store RZO. The combination of Remi’s abstract work alongside LX’s geometric patterns caught our eyes when we saw some photos of the work like the one above. AM asked Remi about the trip and he sent us a mini-travelogue. Check it out along with some more flicks from LX One after the jump.

With violent imagery and crude commentary, all wrapped up in a huge ball of satire, Neck Face will be triggering our collective fears with his newest solo exhibition, Into Darkness (teased). Opening on Halloween Sunday, the street artist has brought together an impressive collection of gouche and watercolor drawings, acrylic and enamel paintings and mixed media sculptures to OHWOW’s Hollywood pop-up gallery. 2010 looked to be a light year for the Brooklyn collective known as Faile (featured). Initially it was just a simple show at a “little gallery” known as Gagosian. Then in Feburary, a hand crafted arcade experience popped up in London. By Spring they created a new arcade show in NYC.
