It now sounds like the black version (see gray version) of the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 collaboration will be released on Cyber Monday. Constructed in a black suede upper, the sneakers features the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature “XX” on the heel and hang tag, a Jumpman x KAWS logo on the insole, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole. Painter Scott Listfield has released a series of prints based on five of his paintings that were recently shown at Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago. Following The Collaborations show(covered), New York graffiti legends Crash (featured), Bio (Tats Cru) have teamed up with British Vandal Nick Walker (interviewed) for a new print release called Sea of Love to be released on November 14th on here for $400. James Jean (interviewed) will be releasing another signed and numbered time-limited print on November 14th, starting at 8 AM PST and ending after 24 hours. Entitled Max Pipe, the image is inspired by the painting Attirement of the Bride (La Toilette de la mariée) by Max Ernst. The enhancements (foil stamping, holographic foil, embossments) and dies required for this edition makes it one of Jean’s most complex offerings to date. On November 7th, Dan Witz will be releasing a print that celebrates his AW 2017 collaboration with Dior Homme. The imagery for the edition is taken from his signature “mosh pit” mixed media paintings, which was also used for the the fashion house’s outerwear line for Winter 2017. Available thru October 31st, Skull 03 is a new print from Von (interviewed) that sees him utilizing some new drawing techniques that he’s been developing over the past few months. On October 23rd, Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) will be releasing a new print entitled Imperator. Featuring one of the Australian artist’s signature floating astronauts, this time hovering over a statue (something Geddes said might be the hardest object he’s had to paint), the timed edition will be available for 24 hours only starting at 9 AM Melbourne time. Following up the unveiling of his BFF statue in Bangkok last year (covered), as well as plush versions in blue and black, KAWS will be releasing vinyl versions of the figure tomorrow (October 18th). The blue version can be purchased starting at 10 AM EST online at MoMA and at its two NYC shops while the black iteration will be available on KAWSONE.com starting at 12 PM EST.
