Just in time for Valentine’s Day, James Jean (interviewed) will be offering up a new print entitled Lapins d’Amour. The signed and numbered time-limited edition will be available for 24 hours starting at 8:00 AM PST on Tuesday, February 14th and ending at 7:59 AM PST on Wednesday, February 15th and then never sold again. Award winning printer Christian M. Walter recently released a new limited edition by Spanish artist Paco Pomet whose work often touching on environmental issues and human behavior. For this project, the Andalucian painter chose Habia Una Vez (Once Upon a Time), a painting that was included in last year’s Dismaland event by Banksy (covered) and kept by him for his personal collection. A few days ago, Raphael Sagarra aka Finok self-released his latest limited edition. Combining giclee and silkscreen, the Brazilian artist produced Afogando Mágoas (Drowning Sorrows) in an edition of 140 + 20 AP’s. The image is a classic example of Finok’s signature works – using dominating green tones, he mixed traditional elements from Brazilian folk art with his playful graffiti-based characters. After his recent Asian tour that included Hong Kong (covered), Seoul (covered) and Tokyo (covered), Pejac returned to his studio in Barcelona to work on his next limited edition release. The image he chose for this release is a black and white version of his large canvas, Meadow, that he painted earlier this week. We just received these studio photos from Paris, where C215 is adding final touches to his upcoming new editions. French stencil artist teamed up this time with Print Them All studio in order to release his 2nd lithograph with them. Releasing at 9am Pacific (noon Eastern) time on Tuesday, March 19 by 1xRUN is a limited edition (of 200) print by the highly respected graffiti writer/fine artist REVOK. All Tomorrow’s Parties USA has just unveiled Shepard Fairey as the special artist for this year’s festival. For the event, Fairey has designed the above poster featuring the Asbury Park Convention Center and Paramount Theater where the three-day music extravaganza will be held.
