Basel Week Miami ’09 – TrustoCorp

In addition to the multitudes of already established and successful street artists working Primary Flight this year, AM managed to score a couple hours with the ever mysterious TrustoCorp as the enigmatic entity bolted up their trusty brand of altered and hand painted street signage. Dzine @ Miami’s Bass Museum of Art

When down in Miami for Art Basel, we went with our friends The Art Collectors to the Bass Museum of Art to see the exhibition by Chicago-based artist Dzine. Suffice to say that Dzine truly brought it for this museum show, which included eye-popping installations and paintings, proving that he is an artist to watch. Basel Week Miami ’09 – Misa Inaoka @ NADA

As you wonder through the endless booths at all the different fairs at Art Basel, you often chance on some unexpected new artists. One of those moments for us this year was San Francisco-based Misa Inaoka and her mutant bird sculptures exhibiting with Johansson Projects at the NADA art fair. Not only did each unique sculpture seem to be created from some strange animal part junkyard, but the pieces had motorized joints and twisted intermittently. More images after the jump…
