As anticipated, it appears Banksy headed back to MOCA over the weekend to refresh his Art in the Streets installation (covered). Perhaps most impressive is the hazmat suite clad golf pair with their golf cart taking the place of the asphalt roller, which has been moved outside and sacrificed Yogi bear into a pancaked, bloody mess. An ode to the See Saw animatronic installation setup during preparations for Marks and Stencils (covered) last winter, the gasmask wearing golfers are enjoying post-apocolyptic martinis while lining up putts on the museums 18th green.
Additionally, two humorous panels were added to the recreation of The Living Room mural first seen in Camden, along with a yardsale-style, generic landscape canvas repurposed with the saying, “*Subject to availability for a limited period only” akin to a similar work from the Bristol Museum exhibition providing commentary on the degradation of our environment. It is purported that Banksy will be remixing his installation further, so stay tuned if that pans out.
More shots of the new additions after the jump.
