Dan Colen

After kicking things off at their new Los Angeles space earlier this year with Scott Campbell’s Noblesse Oblige (covered), quickly followed up by a unique body of work from David Benjamin Sherry, OHWOW will look to continue making waves with an impressive summer group exhibition. Including such blue chip names as Dan Colen, Terence Koh, Hanna Liden, Nate Lowman, Adam McEwen, Ryan McGinley, Dash Snow, Agathe Snow, and Aaron Young, the Miami-based transplant gallery has brought out some of the big guns to further their introduction to the local gallery circuit. Bringing together a collective of New York-based artists indicative of a free-spirited era and ethos within the Big City in years past, Post 9-11 will present a selection of work composed of disparate compositional techniques – painting, photography, sculpture, and installation – yet all with a shared vision and purpose. The exhibition opens Thursday, June 30th and is once again shaping up to be a must-see OHWOW production.
