Continuing our coverage of the inaugural PULSE Los Angeles set to jump off this coming weekend, we now bring your some preview images from Nate Frizzell (interviewed). Whereas his last solo To Become Myself saw Nate exclusively flex his muscle with charcoal, a compelling first time departure for the young artist, he now returns to the oils paintings that got people really talking during his I Should Know Who I Am By Now around this time last year. After four consecutive sold out exhibitions with LeBasse Projects, the close knit partnership now aims to broaden their collective exposure on the fair circuit.

Running from September 30 – October 3, the humble hometown artist’s subtle portraiture infused with environmental issues and street art imagery should standout to attendees. In addition to the new series of paintings, his first screenprint, a new set of sculptures, as well as a letterpressed and foiled print (if completed in time) will also be available. Joshua Petker along with a few pieces by Katrin Fridriks will be shown alongside Frizzell at the LeBasse booth.

Check out more Frizzell preview images after the jump.
