Releases: Aaron Horkey – “Andrew Bird” Poster

Aaron Horkey fans out there, tomorrow will be your next chance to get ahold of one of his works, albeit a limited edition. His Andrew Bird screenprint will be available at Friday, May 18th at  “around” 2pm Central Time at Postersandtoys. Mars-1, Oliver Vernon, & Damon Soule Mural (Arizona)

Not new to mind-blowing collaborations (see 2010), three members of the Furtherrr Collective got together for another mural in Arizona. Painted at the Flagstaff Brewing Company, friends Mars-1, Oliver Vernon, and Damon Soule each added their ingredients to the organic brew resulting in a vibrant, kinetic, and large piece for the public to enjoy.  Here’s hoping they get together for more projects in the future. Openings: Samuel Lowder – “Time Machine” @ Shooting Gallery

Last Saturday evening, Shooting Gallery hosted the opening of Samuel Lowder aka Freprs’s exhibition entitled Time Machine. This ex-90’s graffiti artist has fully transitioned into creating pop art pieces incorporating layered stencils, with hidden details to be picked out when viewed closely. London-based artist, Word to Mother’s (interviewed) latest offerings were put on display last Saturday evening at White Walls in an exhibition entitled Can’t Afford to be Broke (previewed).
